$259.99 on Amazon free ship

I missed the same deal at buy.com last week. I'm thinking at this price it would be less hassle than going with the Superpad 3 16GB currently at 212.99. Decisions, decisions. Anyone else in?

Congratulations, you'll like the G-Tab. Make sure you read up on bootloaders and recovery builds before you dive into the world of rooting and ROMing.

Also, you'll probably notice that the screen on the G-Tab kind of sucks out of the box. Pick up a Skinomi TechSkin protector, and you'll notice a significant improvement in viewing angles.

Thanks Zebulon, I plan on torturing it as much as possible stock then after limitations are experienced I'll most likely flash to one of the preferred Gingerbread roms. This will be an upgrade from my Droid X as I held it back on Froyo for various reasons. Looks like Honeycomb rom is not quite suitable for my needs yet. I'll bet it won't be long though...

Update, had this thing since the 7th. This is a GREAT entry level tablet and great bang for the buck. Installed the Skinomi screen protector and carbon fiber back. Just for safety I also purchased a cheap folio faux leather case on ebay, the one that folds into a stand. It is a good idea to put the little screen cloth on the display when traveling as the stitching will mar the screen protector. The Skinomi improved the viewing angles and again for the price, no complaints. I was aware of the issues with viewing angles before purchase. If anyone comments and razzes me I'll tell them that it is a feature that I paid extra for to maintain my security when viewing sensitive data.
