Root [2nd Gen] Cannot Root Kindle Fire 7.2.3

Hello,
I have a Kindle Fire 7" 7.2.3 that I have been trying to root for weeks. I have been using Inksavers Detailed Instructions at

Everything looks good until I get to the point in Command Prompt where you type in stuff\adb devices and List of devices attached appears, but there is no device listed. Anybody have any ideas?
