Help 2nd Reminder tone on Text messages

Is there a way to have a 2nd tone alert on text messages? my Iphone "sorry"
would have a second alert if you didn't check the message. This was nice since I don't always hear the first one in the car sometimes.
Can I make my Epic do this some how. Thanks

Im pretty sure you can't thats why they have the notification flash at the top of the device that blinks every so often if you don't open up the message.

Why don't you go into mesg. / settings, & set a louder tone for text mesg. That your original ringtone for calls

If you use a 3rd party messaging app, such as ChompSMS or SMSPopup, you can set it for any number of reminders.

The Executive Assistant app lets you set repeating reminders for missed calls, emails, messages, etc. controlling sounds and vibration patterns. I am not recommending this app, as I have never used it. Just an example that multiple reminders can be done.

Handcent, on the Market, lets you set multiple reminders if I remember correctly.
