3.0 Honeycomb coming in March?

I will say that Honeycomb is supposedly optimized for Tabs and I can't see "officially" getting it on the Cappy.

I doubt. I wouldnt be excited about 3.0 if your on 2.1 and 2.2 and 2.3 is out. Just saying.

The Captivate will never see Honeycomb. Heck, I doubt the Tab will either (which would benefit the most from it) given Samsung's track record.
