Help 3 Moments, 5 Batteries, still sux

My personal experience is that it's a hardware issue with the phone. My wife is on her third Moment and still has shitty battery life. I'm on my third, and my third has great battery life compared to my other two. Even when the Sprint Rep activated it, we both noticed how much faster it even was. I would just swap the phone if you could.

Just to let you know about my battery life, I unplugged it Friday morning, and after medium usage I plugged it in on Saturday night and my battery gauge was still in the green, I could of left it till Sunday night, but didn't want to worry about my battery dying. I unplugged it Sunday morning and plugged it in Monday early afternoon, but that was because I was in a low signal area and texting a lot.

I also tend to believe its hardware related. The other day I pulled my phone from the charger (was plugged in all night - 100% charged) and checked gmail for about 1 minute. I go back to home screen and I'm down to 80% literally. And this isn't the first time I have seen this. I realize no smartphone has perfect battery life. But the kind of charges I get from this thing are completely unacceptable.

The FroYo rom that was released really helped alot with the battery life, but sadly I had stability issues. Phone would reboot all the time, at random. So after 6 months, I'm throwing in the towel.

:(

I have had Sprint for the last 4-5 months. Got a brand new Moment when I signed up w 1.5
I have since upgraded to 2.1 and changed the battery 2x on that phone due to horrid battery life. 3 Hours max with little to no use and nothing running in the background.
So Sprint has sent me 2 new Moments in the last 3 weeks and a total of 5 batteries from the Sprint store.
I am going to have to assume that the battery life on this phone is almost non existent. After getting "fully charged" if I make a single phone call for 1-2 minutes, that drains 1/3 of the battery right away. A few texts and a log onto facebook and I'm down to the tiny red bar and warning.
I have come to the conclusion that after 3 phones and 5 batteries with very minimal use, this phone or batteries are flawed from the get go.
So do I tell Sprint I want the Intercept, Evo, Other????
I love the phone itself and the way it works along with the layout and the slideout keyboard.
But I am just amazed that they can't make a phone/battery that lasts more than 3 hours. And forget about using more tasking programs like the navigator. I had a full battery, put in my directions, and after a 15 minute drive with navigation, the phone was just about to shut down.
What would you guys do??????
Do I demand another phone?
Is the Intercept any better?
What are my options before I call and harass sprint again?
Thanks in advance,
Steve
ive had to do alsmost exactly the same thing demanded a different phone would not do that stuck with this damn phone sad but true

Could always do an insurance claim to get a new one. My wife's got smashed so for $100 they had to give her another phone because they didn't even have any Moments. It's a limited selection, but get's you out of the Moment. She has a HTC TouchPro now, and no problems with it at all.
