Hi, sorry for this stupid question but ive only been a android person for a month. When I turn my phone off and back on it will beep a lot. Is there something wrong with it ? First time its happen is today.

Mine does that as well. I believe it is telling us that the SD card is being set up and to not start any applications until the phone is completely ready to go.
Speaking of SD cards, do your apps go missing after a reboot if you install them on your SD card?

Another thread suggested to NOT install apps to the card because of this issue. I have some data and apps on my card but have not encountered any mysterious disappearances.

I have the Atrix 4G and I hear two bings everytime I reboot. Its the internal storage and SD card mounting notifications.
