Help 3 questions about my incredible.

So I am wondering if this issues are normal.


1st: is it just me or what but I talk to other people on their incredible and I hear fine. Yet when talking with other non incredible users it cuts in and out.

2nd: My phone is slow to switch to landscape.

3rd: My phone tends to not work while its set on the couch or floor.
 
1. no idea.

2. how slow? its normal to take 1-2 seconds. It's not instant.

3. I dont have this problem however i think I've heard someone say something like this before.

It takes about 5 sec maybe . But glad to hear that's semi normal.
 
1. Seems strange. I have the call quality issue and it doesnt matter who I am calling.

2. What program is slow to switch?

3. You may have a grounding issue which may or may not be addressed in the next update. The way I can tell is when it is in car dock and NOT plugged into anything. The touch screen becomes unresponsive.

1. I call my mom on hers and I can hear fine its just random other people.
2. Every one. Gtalk Facebook texting...
3. Yup screen is in screen lock mode.
 
I don't have any of those issues. Has your phone done this from when you first got it or is some of this recent behavior?

I know it is a PITA, but you might want to do a factory reset and see if that helps. If your apps are listed on AppBrain, it will make it simpler. There are instructions somewhere on this forum about doing a reset and restore and it has good tips that will save you some time as I recall.

Ya,pretty much since I got it. I've had It since June 8. I did a factory reset a week ago. Didn't seem to help any. Thanks.

that's not normal. ~1 second or less for me when in a browser.

do a clean reboot, open a browser and go from profile to landscape a few times. If it's slow check and see if any apps are running at startup.
 
What do you mean "tends not to work"? Does it not receive calls and texts? Or do you mean that the screen isn't very responsive when you touch it?

Yes, the screen acts unresponsive. They think I'm not pulling the menu down all the way. But I am. Just seems odd.
