Root 3 questions I have.

Alright i wanted to just post all the questions i have here instead of making separate threads.

First off im running playfulmod 1.1(froyo) and im with MetroPCS

1.Is there a way i can overclock to 710mhz like in cm6 and cm7?

2. After using uot kitchen to create my own theme i now have a problem where the buttons and the trackball no longer light up. Is there anyway to solve this?

3.Is there a way i can make my status and notification bar black like with the icarus 1.1 mod?

4. Are there any tweaks i can make to build.prop?

Go to data/data/eri.xml in the file explorer edit eri.xml everywhere it says eritxt"" put MetroPCS in between the quotes

Yeah i just noticed it. Im not running cyanogenmod so that could be the reason why but like im just not able to turn on 3g after flashing metro off

If you dial *#*#4636#*#* and click phone what it's it set on cdma auto prl?

You might just want to re flash, I don't think you need Metroff for Playfulmod.

No it didn't because i made sure the first thing i put was that im running playfulmod. I didnt change that. but i have another question. Whenever i flash to cyanogenmod 7 i always have a weak signal strength. is there anyway to solve that or is that just apart of the rom?

I've heard that it reports weak signal, it doesn't actually have it. To confirm it one would actually have flash between CM7/6 and stock (or PlayfulMod) go to a precise area and look at the dBm in signal strength. Even then it's not a sure shot...
