3 UK network: data speed

Is anyone else gettin suddenly high data speeds? I just got 14Mb/s down. Think thats fastest ive ever had..

I've not noticed but they either emailed me ir texted me a few weeks ago to say I may have noticed they increased their network speed.... but my tests were the same at that time

Right. Im tethered to the Wii justnow so cant get an accurate test but youtube wasnt workin so i did a Speedtest and it just went up and up to 10 then nxt time i got 14.1 lol. Took me by surprise coz in the year iv used 3, the most ive had was 9.x.
Hope this continues man. What kinda speeds do u get in ur area?
Here it definately gets slower between like 9am n 6pm. Gona watch this documentary then test it again after 9am n see if it stays fast :thumbup:

Yeah im probs about the same mate. Recently maybe 3-6 on average.
Do u know why Speedcheck sometimes uses different servers? Ive noticed i get the best speeds when it uses Edinburgh server.. im wondering if "server" means a Speedtest.net server or like an internet server..

It's both. People with web servers who offer to host the speedtest service... but some servers have better connections than others

So like, me changing the server on Speedtest app is only gona affect the speed the app gets, not my data speed in general?

lol I ran speedtest and got 5800 kbps then thought "Hmm. Not as fast as funky's... I'll try it again."... 117kbps
