Root 3 x Vibe = Brick?

Ok so I decided to flash back to stock rom using this RUU_Marvel_Virgin_Mobile_1.37.351.1_Radio_47.10.35 .3029H_7.46.35.08_release_188032_signed until somebody had a stable rom available. So as I was running the ruu phone goes to reboot and never starts back up. So I try to turn it back on and nothing happens then I remove the battery and replace it, then it vibrates 3 times and screen stays dark. I tried again to turn it on and nothing. So, I pull the battery and replace it 30 seconds later and it does the same thing vibrates 3 times and stays black. I've tried booting without the sd card and have been back and forth pulling and replacing the battery. Does anybody know of any cures for this or am I stuck? I bought the phone from a best buy on saturday and still have my receipt. Should I just exchange it if they'll let me which I think they should since it's only been two days since purchase. Any advice out there????

Since I haven't used RUU on a phone myself, I'm not real familiar with the process, but did you try running the RUU again with the phone sitting at a black screen? Can't hurt to try it, and you still have the option of returning the phone.

I know this is an old thread but id like to clarify that is a GSM ruu

Three vibe is pretty darn close to brick. You are in qualcomm diagnostic mode actually, but I don't have a guide handy on how to get out as your screen won't display [until you get out], nor do I want to join you to figure it out, but it is not totally bricked, to answer your question. Think GotsOj had this happen early on over on XDA... he might know more.
