Anyone using JD Ultimate? I'm curious how this result is affected if Location based Wifi services and the "keep enabled" feature are used.
Essentially, location based wifi knows if your phone is located anywhere it remembers a network, and connects automatically. Selecting "keep enabled" would instruct JD not to use the usual schedule (5 minutes every 15) for wifi, but rather keep it on constantly when you're in those known locations. Then disables wifi and returns to the scheduled use of 3G when you leave wifi range.
Seems to me this should (or at least could) give you the best of both worlds.
... I'd test it myself and report back but I didn't get in on the pre-order and won't have my Gnex until sunday.
