300mAh battery

Phases

NO LONGER ADMIN
Reckon you can get .. 20 hours of life.. on that? I'm up at 5 and up till midnight often. Mid-day charge I suppose will be required?

Battery life is going to be tough to estimate, as it will be impacted heavily by how it gets used. That's the case even with my Pebble: I have no trouble getting 5+ days out of my watch (especially since I can't wear it at work anymore), but others may get less than two days based on the apps they regularly use and the notifications they usually receive.

That said, my guess would be that the Watch should likely get better battery life than, say, the Moto 360 - the 360 has an older OMAP processor while the Watch has a newer, hopefully more efficient Snapdragon 400 (the same as the LG G Watch R). That processor difference should likely at least be able to make up the gap between the Watch's battery (300mAh) and the 360's (320mAh).

Granted, I'm just a guy on the Internet, so I could be way off. We'll have to wait on the Watch to get out and about to get some proper battery stats. :thumbsupdroid:

The battery is going to make or break my decision to purchase this watch or wait for another.
I bought the original G Watch the day it was released. Great decision, I love it! And I honestly can't answer the question "does it make a difference?" any more as it's so normal.
I'm happy with the battery on my G Watch, I'd rather be in the habit of charging it every day then having to consciously decide wether to charge it or not.

But seeing all these new smart watches that actually look like watches is making me salivate! The Huawei specifically. The others just don't seem enough. But if the battery is like the doomed 360 then I'm not going to bother. If it stands up with a full days usage on relatively hard usage then it's a done deal, no matter what cost. And yes, I'll be buying a couple of different straps to keep it looking fresh.
