Help 32% batt flux after reboot

I decided to reboot my phone while charging and to my surprise it went from 50 to 82! Normally or goes up or down a few but nothing quite like that. I've also noticed during a full scharge overnight it'll jump from 80ish to 100. Even after clearing batt stats it does it. Could this indicate a bad battery? I've already decided to get the rezound battery so no that big of an issue just wanted to get your alls input

Rom you using? Maybe do a few full drain and full charge cycles. Does your battery lose its charge fast? Maybe try a different kernel?

Didn't know you own a bolt? Get the rezound battery anyways. For 20 bucks you can't go wrong. I know I love mine

Had one since late March!

I'm on Liquid 3.2 and i believe imo 5.something kernal. Whatever came in it. Sometimes it drains fast and sometimes it doesn't.

Gonna get the battery today after work and go from there.

I try to do full cycles and even still it does this...

What the flux? If I were you I'd get a new battery (The Rezound will give you about 2-3 hours more battery life per my testing in the Rezound forums). Don't order the battery online either, Verizon stores have a 1/2 price sale. I actually picked up an extended Thunderbolt battery (to give with the Thunderbolt I'm giving away) for about $24.00 or so.

What the flux.... Hahaha I'm so usig that from now on! And yea I'm goug to the store and getting it. It's still on sale online so if they won't work with me in the store then ill just order it

Maybe update your devices as it still says you own a evo:rolleyes:

Sometimes I notice a 10-15% decrease when I do a reboot. I read somewhere that its because the phone doesn't really report the battery % correctly and when you reboot it'll bring the % to the right number.

Psh... It also says tb... Read closer :-)

Just got my battery

With the Resound battery, it'll screw with your stats, so what I found works best is this: wipe stats, charge to full, it will probably charge very slowly and jump from like 70% to 100%, wipe stats, run it ill it shuts off, charge with phone off until it turns green, or better yet if you have a spare battery charger use that.

For some reason it will not read linearly unless the charge after it dies is done with the phone off, or using a spare battery charger. After that you should be good to go.

I have a dock with a slot for spare battery so its charging there now.

HUGE difference with new battery! I'm sitting at 58% and almost 7.5 hrs on battery with light to moderate use. My old battery id be at prob 30ish. Or less!

Still not enough juice to help you win in the "Win" thread... :p
