##3282# help.

OK I rooted my phone and using titanium backup I backed up all APS, while on stock ROM. Now am on aocp jellybean from the collective, and dialing ##3282# doesn't work.does anyone know what the am calling it secret menu, name is maybe I can restore it with tb.

##3282# should work. You will need your MSL number though to get past the edit part, that's the only place you really need it for is if your editing, view you should be fine.

Just tried ##3282# on my side and it broguth up the Data programming window just fine


I can't tell you off hand how to get the MSL number as I have tried terminal commands and other ways with no results.

I've done it with adb commands but I forgot how I did it exactly.

I have my msl #,problem is dialing the # don't work, but I switched to the fk23 anyway,Lil that dialer works the build is missing the secret menu.

I have seen that some ROM's don't have the hidden menu apk which is needed for you to access those functions like data programming.

Using root explorer I extracted fk 23 ROM and moved the hidden menu to this ROM but still no good yet
 
That would probably be why.
As far as I am aware of AOCP/AOKP/AOSP/CM10 are all based off the CM10 builds, so they don't use Fk23 kernel/rom/modems at all.

The ## doesn't work in those either.

As far as I have read, CM10 based roms you have to use auto voice dialer, and speak like apn menu or somthing, you'll have to google it.
I do know for a fact that the ## does not work in those roms though.

They have an MMS fix zip that works also for those roms, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1758735 if you want to use it.

With that rom you should have a ustom recovery already so inn short:
Reboot to recovery > Install the MMS fix zip > reboot
