32Gb Micro SD

I'd imagine it works similarly to flash cards in camera's, I've used both cheap & proper brand name ones & there is a noticeable difference in how quickly the camera saves the photos to the cards.

Ive reformatted it - still showing as 32gb. Transferring files now - seems to be working so far albeit slowly. I will try filling it to capacity later and run some tests.

The files seem to be transferring strangely - a small file seems to take as long as a large file, so now it has it my mp3 collection it is going a lot quicker.

FAKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't fall for the Flash Drive Scam!
Tired of Ebay Hacked/Flashed USB Keys – SCAMS-Bloggy Bloggy My Blog
eBay Guides - Beware from USB Memory SCAM Also in ebay

This is a HUGE scam on ebay from international sellers offering flash media at ridiculously low prices.

I bought 10 125gb jump drives thinking it was an awesome deal and almost lost a lot of money fighting with paypal to resolve the case in my favour. Check the feedback from who you buy, likely it will be all petty jewelry sales to bump up their 100% positive feedback and then BAM suddenly they sell amazing deals on usb sticks or sd cards.

What they do is reflash the media to trick the computer into thinking it has more space than what it actually has. There are tools to check exactly how big the media ACTUALLY is and in some cases you can get it back to proper size but I was left with a bunch of 2 gig usbs after i did it.... useless.

I looked at the links you provided and they were deleted. What the sellers do is sell a bunch of them really quickly and then by the time they ship out the first set of sticks and it reaches the customer, they dissapear and make a new account with new credentials. This happened the exact same way with me.

The media is also very slow as you described because its basically just copying nothing overtop of itself and lagging. Your first couple gigs of data will be fine but anything after that will be corrupted and unusable.

Google search for usb ebay scams and read! theres a ton of info to help but the best thing to do would be to contact ebay or paypal and get your money back ASAP!

I am sorry if im overreacting and if this is not the issue at all but i got ripped off and I felt like a fool and I dont want to see other ppl do the same thing. You only bought one but

Have you tested all the files you put on it work? I doubt they do

Well all my mp3's and everything do, and to whomever said it will fail its been 3 months now and nothing has failed yet, the girl i bought it off only had one of them i dont think it was like a back-street shop or anythn

I'll test it further and let you know. It didnt actually show 32Gb - it was under that but can't remember at mo (at work)

I probably will buy a decent quality 16gb TBH if anyone can recommend one!

Has anybody tried KINGSTON microSDHC 16gb? it is cheaper then SanDisk but I think it is should be a good quality.
I want to know what do you people think about it cause I would like to buy one. :)

am now running H2testw on the 32gb sd's - will let you know results. now up to 10Gb but write speed 1.14mb/sec on card 1 - too slow for me!!
2nd card is writing at 3.5mb/sec

both cards are showing 31988mb in K2testw

also running the test on a kingston 1gb card - showing 4mb/sec but this could be slowed down because of the other tests running concurrently (although they're not taking a lot of bandwidth!)

@Pajopatak - what price have you got on the 16gb kingston

Kingston is a well established and trusted brand, you should be fine, assuming you're buying it from a reliable source - ie. not *some* ebay/Amazon Marketplace sellers.

Guys, sad as it is, approx 90-95% if the branded flash memory on Ebay is fake, Ebay know about it but couldn't really care less, as they make big $$ from the sales, only a small percentage ever gets reported, as lets face it, how many people actually fill them to capacity??

I will NEVER buy flash memory anywhere other than Costco, as not only do you know it's genuine, it's got a lifetime warranty for return/refund too..

Mike
