32GB microSD question.

I would look on Ebay. I have seen 32gb class 6's going from $50 to around $100. If you
luck out on bidding you might end up with one semi cheap.

I am bidding on one right now and if the prices gets high, I will let it go and start bidding on another.

Evo's a great device, but it cannot take advantage of faster write speeds of Class 4, 6, and 10. It's really not a hi-def recording device. It's ok, but not worth going for a premium card. Class 2 is just fine, especially if your main purpose is DL data and reading other files/apps off the card.

Faster is not always better - sometimes it's just more expensive.

I would NOT recommend ebay for these new 32gb cards. There have been many fakes on there, and many sellers that will not return them after they dont work.

Can you point me to a link that confirms this?

Using Google, I found a thread on another forum where someone emailed HTC asking about max class speeds. The response was that Class 4 is the fastest that HTC has tested on the phone. The implication was that you can use faster cards, but they aren't tested.

What I don't know from that thread is whether or not the tested Class 4 cards performed better than Class 2 cards. It suggests to me that the HTC is rated at Class 4, but it's not concrete by any means.

If it's rated for Class 4, I see no need to put a Class 2 in there...and likewise, there is no need to pay more for a Class 6 either.
