Help 32gb SDHC while on reppard's CM7.1??

I know that it is listed that the optimus M cannot use an SDHC card higher than 16gb, but is that a limitation of the phone or of the software?
Now that I have reppard's CM7.1 installed can I use a 32gb SDHC card?

I know at least 10 people running a 32gb in their Ascends and they are only "meant" for a 16gb too with no problem.

Well, I decided to go with just a miserable 16gb since no one could confirm it and I had to order it today and just couldn't wait. Thank you anyways, maybe next time I will get the 32gb one instead.

When i got my Optimus, everything i read said it was upgradable to 32gb.
