Help 3A car charger

So the verizon store the other day says i need a 3A charger for the car in order to not slow thew charging port down.

If i use anything other than the 2A USB 3 stock charger i will slow down the charging port on the phone and even when i plug it in properly it won't charge like it should.

please tell me if they are full of it or not. Because i've never seen a 3A car charger.

Highest I've seen is 2.1amp

the factory wall charger is 2 amp I believe. If that charger is made for your phone then all you need is 2 amp.

Pretty sure they didn't know how to fix your battery drain issue thus said to get a 3 amp charger.

Just using a standard MicroUSB car charger will be fine.

I use an old one that I originally got with my Galaxy Nexus and it works fine with my Note 3.
