Help 3d issues with video

I did a few searches and there are not a whole lot of answers regarding the 3d playback on this device. My issue is that i can play 3d videos that i have recorded on the device but any other 3d video will not play in 3d. This extends from downloaded videos (for evo 3d) to youtube videos (yt3d). It just shows two seperate images side by side.

I am currently running Midnight rom and have tried many different video players (MX, Mobo, Vplayer) and all show the side by side split screen. I try loading from the gallery and use the default player however i get "this video cannot be played" errors. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have heard that with youtube i may need to downgrade to the version the phone shipped with (not sure which).
 
when I used my stock video player for first time it did that too there is a option while video playing to play in 3d in the menu then it worked hope that helps
 
CLC that worked like a charm for youtube. I think midnightrom includes a 3d capable youtube install but i had updated my apps before ever trying the video. I have a SBS 3d digital copy of the avengers as well as the movie included with the phone (think it was transformers?) that just says "cannot play" but i have what i wanted! Thanks!
 
For movies I found out if you downloaded then you can click play in 3d on the stock video (it won't work at this point) but then you open up mxplayer and it will work fully the only downside is everything will try to play in 3d even normal YouTube all you need to do is reboot
