Yeah, i think we might hear something on opera's show tomorrow.
Wishful thinking here, but how nice would it be if we were surprised by the announcement of the release date and that the EVO 3D has NFC at this?
Google & Sprint Gearing Up to Launch NFC Payments Program May 26th?

Just for some angled perspective, The Flyer, with which the EVO3D was annouced, was reported to have passed FCC on 29 April , and is currently on sale at Best Buy - less than a month after reportedly passed FCC, so even if it hasn't yet passed (which I believe it has and been "kept in a #2 mayonnaise jar under Funk and Wagnall's porch since..."), we still have hope it will come out before my birthday!

Actually, the Flyer (WIFI only) was announced at MWC. The EVO View 4G was announced with the EVO 3D

Same here.I think I'm going to hold off on my pre-order until I find out more about the ability to root. I want to get rid of the bloatware and possibly OC and change the boot animation. If HTC/Sprint will not allow this, then the release date is irrelevant to me.
I'm now thinking nothings going to be announced on her show tomorrow. From this article it sounds like Sprint was a major sponsor of the May 23rd & 24th shows.Yeah, i think we might hear something on opera's show tomorrow.
Glad I'm not the only one. I really wanted a new gen phone I could root and on which I could install custom ROMs. This Samsung Intercept....fails. Hard. Anyway, I am still confident the devs both here on the forums and over at XDA will find a way to break this phone wide open.Same here.
She said that in one of the videos; but typically movie distributors frown on such (DRM and all) so I wonder how they address their concerns.
The Phone can can out today...I don't care.
Encrypted Bootloader is a DEAL BREAKER.
Boycott this phone.....![]()
If there was another phone that could compete, I would drop all plans for this phone. Say Verizon announced they had a Samsung or LG 3D phone with similar specs and an unlocked bootloader for sale this weekend. I would port all of my Sprint lines to Verizon this weekend and buy 4 of them, paying Sprint 4 ETF fees in the process. The Phone can can out today...I don't care.

Good Post ^
My main Aggravation with it.....Its My Phone. I Paid for it.
I should be able to do whatever I want with it.
If I can't do what I want....I won't buy it.
Its a HUGE bummer ....cause I REALLY wanted this one.
That argument has about the same weight as saying I own a home and if i want to make it into a brothel or meth house, i should be able to.
