Holy crap! Your real name is actually toad6386?!?! ;) Your parents must have hated you...

Ugh, no earphones.... AGAIN! :(. The sensation gets earphones....

Meh, I'm not too worried about missing out on some cheap-o head phones. I already have several nice sets anyway.

I think I may be in the minority when it comes to earphones. I've always hated the ear buds design because I never can get used to sticking them in my ear or they just don't fit right. I ended up going for a bluetooth enabled headset that hangs on the ears instead of in them. It just seems to work better for me.

I might just not be looking properly but what is the size for background images on the EVO 3D?

Trying to get everything setup a head of time so I don't take time away from my new "girlfriend".

im not sure why people complain about the lack of ear buds, lol.

The beauty of ear buds or any head phones, is that you can disconnect them from the device. That means that i can take my current ear buds that are plugged into my Evo 4g, UN-plug them... and then are you ready... PLUG them into the Evo 3d.

I just made some peoples brains into mush, i know it. lol

I use bluetooth headphones. They work with anything. Except my iPod. My iPod tries to murder them. So I couldn't care less if it didn't come with earphones :P

who here believes.. that the included headsets are of the... high quality sound reproducing products???

we want the best music reproducing hardware player.. and software... but would you use the free headset that came with your device?

all my included headsets are used for about 1 min to test them out... and go back to the package to stay.

if they can save a few $$ to not included them, and put that to other quality parts in the phone... i am on board!

I know I have some Sony earbuds I use for my Archos tablet when watching Netflix. But for my phone I usually just use my Blue Ant Q2 BT headset in the one ear. Good enough for me to listen to music on. Or else I listen through the phone speaker.

Question. I'm thinking of going into Sprint tomorrow and getting my week long temp phone that I won't open the box for (so I don't have to pay the restocking fee), so that I can get the new customer incentive before it expires, and then next week trading it in for my pre-ordered Evo3D. Do they have to set up the number and everything for me on the spot, or can I continue using my T-Mobile phone for a week until the E3D comes out next week? Also would my first month bill be the same if I start up this Friday vs next Friday, or will they charge me for that extra week?

I dont want to make you feel bad but if you get the temp phone (how you call it "which is cool :p) you CANT leave the Sprint store without activating it, which means that you would have an open box, which means that you would have to pay the restocking fee, and regarding the week of service if you go over your limit day where its the end of your billing period and you go another week over, they will just charge you the usage you had on that time only and the next bill, after getting the new contract, will show that Week and which ever your plan is and taxes and insurance etc, etc... i hope i made my self clear :D im not really good on explaining things lol

EDIT: I think ^^ this ^^ is right.

You're going to have to port the T-Mo number right away, especially if you want the $125 port in credit. Don't forget to fill out the online application within 72hrs. Port In Credit Not sure about the charges, but your billing will start right away, since your probably gonna have to port the number on the spot... since that phone will now be active with a ported number, just (hopefully) in an unopened box to save you 35 bucks (restock fee). Just not sure if its even possible to leave with an unopened box.

Crap so the best idea then would be to wait till Thursday of next week. Is what the poster above said true, do you really HAVE to activate in the store no matter what? And I have 72hrs from my account activation to get the port in credit, and that 72hrs extends beyond the 24th as long as I started my new account before then right?

Also I was just wondering if I started a new plan towards the end of the month would I be charged the full price for a month of phone insurance, international calling, etc, or some pro-rated amount?

99% sure that you have to activate the phone before you leave the Sprint store.

Not sure about this, but I would do it the day before the deal ends (like the 22nd) and fill out the online application, just to guarantee you get the credit. But, thats just me. I like to make sure I cover myself thoroughly.

Also I was just wondering if I started a new plan towards the end of the month would I be charged the full price for a month of phone insurance, international calling, etc, or some pro-rated amount?

I know they pro-rate the HotSpot add on, so I would think the international calling would be the same. No idea about insurance.

Hope that helps.

We are four days away from being able to order and I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. I can't wait to get this beast of a machine in my hands.

Anybody else have super tingling tastebuds for 3vo magic?

Right but i am still pondering with all the radios off as he usually configures it, what is the point of a smart phone then, just asking.

It makes sense to turn on radios WHEN you are actually using them. For example, when I'm at work I don't use the data connection to surf the web etc. So turning 3G and 4G off there make sense, saves battery since I'm not using it anyway. Same goes for Wifi and Bluetooth.

When I leave for the day, then I can turn Bluetooth back on as well as 3G, if I'm doing heavy web surfing and need faster speed then I can turn on 4G. Only keeping on what you are physically using at that time helps you save battery from being burned up by radios you don't use all day anyway.

That isn't to say I'll NEVER use them, I'll just turn them on before I plan on using them. Pretty logical and simple.

After all the latest reviews, i'm not as excited as I was. I'm getting now because I have $50 already into it and it's something newer than my 4G.
