3g/1X toggle

i downloaded some toggles for 3g/2g but they just send me to the network options where the only choice is to turn off data alltogether.
i would really like to be able to only use 1x when i dont surf the web. to save battery life.
is this possible?
 
that is a great idea, sometimes the 3g does not work, don't know why.... but when i switch to 2g it works fine. that little switch or a automatic switch would be awesome!
 
thanks i got the app and i can toggle from 3g and 1x now.
i noticed i dont get push email notifications etc when im on 1x. anyone else see this?
