Help 3g Connection Issue

Having a really wierd 3g connection issue with Sprint Version. The phone crashed and couldn't get past the start up screen so I did a factory data reset. Now if I have the phone in LTE/CDMA mode it will not connect to 3g, don't have lte in my area yet. But if I turn it to CDMA only mode it will work. Service seams slower now as well. Also before it was connecting to EHRPD now it will only connect to EVDO A.
 
I dont understand the US carriers enough to give any kinda advice mate sorry but hope someone can :thumbup:
