Help 3G connection problems

Have you tried rebooting? If that doesnt work try dialing *228 and option 2

i did that but it still doesn't work. i have 3 bars but the 3G icon isn't there and there is no connection

I'm having the same issue, but dialing those 2 codes didnt/doesnt work for me. Everytime I turn my phone off, or reboot after flashing anything I have to wipe everything and then reflash Velocity...sometimes 2-3 times before I regain my 3G data connection. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

you could try reflashing your recovery ie clockwork and also maybe you got a bad download try redownloading velocity.....this may help
