Help 3G Data Doesn't Work, 4G and WiFi Do

Noticed this issue pop up out of nowhere the other day. Once I am in a 3G area, data just stops working. The 3G icon is up on the status bar, and I can have full service, but there is no connection. Once I enable wifi or enter a 4G service area, everything works fine.

I am running 5.7.893, and had no issues with it until Saturday.

I bit the bullet and just did a factory reset. Everything seems to be working now.

If anyone figures out a reason why this would happen, feel free to send me a PM!

It would have to be an app you have / had installed, if it works again after factory reset....

Or else a setting you picked.

Had this happen twice, once a few weeks ago and again today. Factory resets didn't help for me. Had to get a new sim from vzw. Tech today offered me a refurb since this was my second time. Declined hoping it's just the sim card. If it happens again I'm going to swap the phone. Tech had no idea what was causing it.
