3g help in US?

So I have an unlocked desire that im using with tmobile here in the states but I'm wondering if ican get 3g out here or not. I get edge so its not that awful but it would be nice to have 3g... any ideas!? Thanks

No, 3G wont work as US 3G frequencies are different to the markets the desire has been launched in.

If you want 3G, you'll have to wait for the US model to get launched.

doesn't it depend on the network? It may work on t-mob in usa..

None of the us carriers use the same 3g freq we do Lekky.
