This may be a bit of a newbie question. I have been working with android phones for quite some time now, but the answer to this one has eluded me.
If I use the LG hidden menu to change my network lock (3g, 1x, even, etc I cannot pull data on 3g while I am in a call. Now on my LG motion this is no problem I can do it all day and night by just using network select to get to evdo + coma. What baffles me is that 4g will work while in a call, but not 3g, but like I said this phone is only a little bit different from the motion, so why am I having so much trouble.?
Is there any particular setting in the LG hidden menus to allow this to happen? I need 3g so I don't get throttled (obviously) because metro pcs wants to be a weirdo about throttled 4g being slower than 3g.
Any thoughts?
Edit: I am using katana with key lime green theme. Maybe the build prop tweaks? Not sure
