3G Boost Mobile, Root Gone too Far??
Help 3G is Gone,

Awe man, I went through the rooting process, and got it real nice. My "Adfree" and "Adaway" are working well. Also, I paid for "SD Maid" and may have over done it a little in the duplicates section. I may have deleted something the network needs, because I have no 3G. Is there a file/program the phone must have to be able to get service off the Boost Mobile tower? I've been on the phone with Boost for hours over the last few days they haven't a clue. They had me reactivate (MSL reset) and update m profile a bunch. No dice. Not sure what happened. I had this crummy "Go-launcher Battery Widget" that may have messed with it, but i deleted it, and tried reverting a lot of settings to help. Can you please help? I'll buy you a beer in paypal. Thanks.

I would suggest making a CWM backup and then reverting back to stock or flashing a new ROM. There is no telling what you might have deleted. I'm sure there are several dozen files that will break 3G if they are deleted.

You can edit the post title. Just make sure you are in "Advanced Edit" mode, and it will appear right above your post's text field.

Also, the reason no one responded to your other post was probably because you are posting these outside of the All Things Root sub-forum. I would ask a Mod to delete the other one, and move this one to All Things Root.

I went ahead and moved this into the All Things Root section and reported the other thread to the mods for deletion. Don't be afraid to report your own thread--no negative brownie points here

And BLuFeNiX is right. You can change the name of your own thread under advanced edit.

Thanks, to all for helping out this new guy. Everything is tip top Thanks to Bad3actor, the members who commented on this thread, and $hevron for the new rom that restored my 3G. Oh and it also makes my phone flipping awesome. Never going to buy Apple products. Peace. :flybye::adore:

? This is now happening. Any ideas? It slows down and stops pretty often. gives the title error. Otherwise running real smooth. can't wait to see how the wireless tether works with my new laptop.
