Root 3g on metro lol

So was at the vet with my gf I decided to check the time and next thing I know I'm on 3g why I find this odd is that metro never claimed to have 3g and this is the first time I've gotten 3g idk if it's due to the rom but I'm not going to complain when I can't be on 4G I'd rather be on 3g then 1x will upload a pic when I get a chance to hop on the computer

They're 3G is just as slow as 1x Which 1xRTT is actually real true 3G. Just the very first generation of 3G and super slow. Its kinda like the window licker of the family Ahaha

I've gotten 3g a few times, on my Ascend. Never in my own home -___-!

Metropcs launched 3G not for a speed increase but to increase the user cap. 1xRTT only allows so many user before download upload speeds pretty much stop. 3G speeds are slightly faster than 1xRTT.

It was kind of a hidden release. At first only heavy users where pushed the new prl (3026 if im not mistaken). If these users updated their prl through *228 they would've lost 3g until metro made available to all androids. The reason i believe is not advertised is because of it not being "real 3g" as far as data speed.

They have announced it many times , tho by the mid-late quarter of this year is when we going to see the results;
