Help 3g problem

hey
i get H sign on a70 and about 20 kbps on wcdma network(bsnl 3g)
and when i use the same sim on nokia c5 wcdma network i get about 50-60 kbps
 
Your plan is 2g or 3g coz 2g plan gives 3g speed for 2days and then speed gets capped to 20kb/s

No he is ryt..!!
M too havin a rs 400 plan of 1gb data on bsnl 3g but speed comes only some times a week of abt 200kbps but always remain 20kbps.. but on my mmx modem it always come ..
 
use the speedtest app to measure ur actual speed.. my reliance 3g is around 768 kbps actually around 768/8= 96 kilobytes per second

DO note that the speed is Kilobits per second... Not kilobytes per second
Your phone may display the speed in kilobytes i.e. 20 kilobytes per second which is equal to 20 * 8 = 200 kilobits per second...

This is the marketing strategy by Internet service providers to fool us customers lol, (atleast especially in my state orissa :P)

You can try to change the APN. See if that changes anything ...

Yea that's through speed test only.. actual speed is 1.87 Mbps while the truth is its 200KBps..
But most times its only 20KBps..!!
 
I get 300kbs in airtel and speed test shows perfect results
And in tata docomo i get 1mbs or 800kbs now it is ipcapped and it gives me 15kbs
And aircel it was always 100kbs and now i cant use it because i got banned for excess usage of 3g and i cant use 3g itself
In speed test app in settings select kbs then it will show correct reaults
 
The speeds are the solution it depends on the network provider ....and try reflashing the rom if you have a custom recovery
 
I dont think it is problem of a70 coz i am using bsnl3g on a70 from 6 months and it is fine,

Check speed in other area(use wcdma only)
