Help 3G problem

Hi im in UK my phone is on O2 network but i cant load anything with 3g ive got the APN settings and data ect turned on. Im I missing something can anyone help
ive got 3g showing in the status bar but nothing will load open with it

Does it work in just 2g, I leave mine in 2g because I've not noticed much difference, using giffgaff which runs on O2 btw.
