Help 3g unless I force 4g.

This phone has been perfect until this issue. For the last week I've lost network connection, it will be intermittent and I was thinking it was Verizon. Haven't seen any issues reported lately so I thought it may be my phone. I removed the Sim card and booted, then did a battery pull and reinserted the Sim. Now when on cdma/LTE, it defaults to 3g, so I thought let me force 4g to see if it's weak. It wasn't and was kicking right along at ~20mbps download. So I switch back to auto and it goes back to 3g.

I'm hoping there is a quick fix, I hate trying to explain it over the phone to Verizon people.

How do you force 4G connectivity?
 
The problem seems to have resolved itself. Guess I just needed to pull the Sim and let it fix itself. Running perfect again.

There's an app called phone info I use to force 4g.

Thank you! Switched the LTE with voice and it switched to the 4G radio instantly. I know this will kill my battery but I don't care, I just want the damn thing to be fast. Thanks again!
 
fwiw Voice can't and won't go over 4G so when you make a phone call it's going to use the 3G radio for that no matter what you try and force it to.
