Help 3G/Wi-Fi problem

So I have been trying to download a new model of CM9 and AOKP but every time I do I get a message like "There is no connection or lost connection or couldn't detect Wi-Fi " but I had great 3G connection. What causes this problem and how can I fix it?

EDIT: I'm on my phone right now so obviously there's nothing wrong but when I go to download something that's when the problem starts.

ive seen a few posts about this not to long ago, for some reason the phones arn't staying connected to the webpage, once the data drops out to a certain point the download usually just gets stuck wherever its at until you get that message

best bet would be to try the download on a pc, if it still doesnt download then, it may be the website in itself

I wish it was that easy, i was downloading additional data from a couple games but once it got a little past the half way point it got stuck and then it gave me that message but if i knew how to download the additional data from the games that im trying to download on the computer i would. :help:

yea, thats a different story lol

i would say personally id try, clearing your data, like browser data, google play data, and google framework data, reboot phone and give it a min or two just incase it tried like updating or something, then try again

also you can try to, just for the download, set your phone so the screen wont shut off, just like how unless you change the setting the screen turning off will cut wifi, ive noticed on some large downloads ive done if the screens off for long enough even my 3g will sometimes cut out

Thanks for the advice, i will try that also i'm going to try and flash a new ROM just in case it's a bug or any kind of glitch. Ya know?
 
EDIT: i cleared data then went into CWM and cleared cache and it didnt help but thanks Tokens210




I'm flashing an updated version of the ROM i was running on my phone now, hopefully this fixes my problem. If not i'm gonna need a little more help.

yea its seems like something is up, normally whenever mine starts getting messed up, clearing the data tends to help alot

what rom are you running??
