If I'm the first to have a dead one, do I get some major props?
Woke up this morning, pulled it off the charger, browsed the web a bit. Then played Angry Birds for a few and left it alone for a while. Then I started playing Heavy Gunners from com2us. I get to the first boss and it totally hung. Couldn't do anything. I removed the battery, got a refresh on my coffee. I come back, put the battery back in and it booted to an almost completely white screen with a variety of Red, Blue, and Green pixels spatter painted throughout the screen. There was a thin bit of visible screen at the very top of the display. I attempted to perform a hard reset, but the screen did the same when I got to the reset screen, couldn't select the hard reset button.
No drops, no nothing, just toasted it playing that game. The game did hang two days ago when I was playing it and I had to yank the battery but it didn't have the same result.
An hour and a half at Radio Shack and I'm on #2 now. AppBrain save me now!
I'm wondering if some of the games out there are not programmed to handle the display in this thing. For the time being I'm sticking with less graphics intensive games and waiting for reviews on sites like this. Definitely not getting any of the older ones for a while.
