4.0.4 Update = Issues

Hi All,

Updated my GT-I9100 4.0.4, had 2 issues, lost call logs which is now resolved. The 2nd issue is now my phone switches off! Anyone else with this issue?

Nope. I'm with T Mobile UK and updated mine to 4.0.4 yesterday and not encountered any issues. Everything working and kept all my data.

Yes, this is also the big problem i have after I upgraded to 4.0.4..my phone switches off even my battery is still 40%. THis is the BIG problem i got. i dont know if my battery is weak? But i just encountered this after i upgraded the version.

Also, swiping at the top to adjust brightness also gone.

The annoying issue i am having is that my contacts take about 30 seconds to load up (blank screen for ages then all names and numbers show after 30 secs). I don't have a big contact list (billy no mates).

That's if i use it first time after start up or not using it for a few hours. Super annoying. Yeh and the auto brightness is gone. Weird as it was a great feature and they actually got rid of it!

Hope JB is a little more polished than this.

4.0.4 is full of fails biggest one being pop3 email not working properly
I regret updating it since day 1
