Root 4.0.4

[Lanman1978]

Do you think that we will ever see this release?

[OverByter]

No

[chrisbog94]

No

I love the blatant answer.. haha this actually had me laughing a little.. but in the scheme of it all.. we might if one of the dev's decides to go ahead and work on it.. but will we get it from an OTA update? probably not.

[Banished Angel]

If Virgin Mobile and HTC were going to take the time to configure 4.0.4 for our phones they would just release Android 4.1. Here's to hoping!

[SuperAfnan]

No

[Snake X]

And before you ask, 95% sure no to JB as well

There seems to be more than one source including supposed leaked documents that claim we will get 4.1

Link to a source? I've heard rumors, but nothing credible.

Yeah but that launched with JB, you can't find very many phones that ever received more than one official update. We've already gotten ours.

[BackHandLegend]

I emailed HTC and asked if we're to get any sense or android updates. They said they didn't know at the moment. (which means no) I think you should all go and ask, maybe our demand might change their minds?

It launched with ics.

Then don't expect any updates beyond Jelly Bean xD

I'll have a nexus phone to match my nexus 7 by then

I was referring to the phone actually being the 3d, I think that HTC considers that our 1 update, just because Sprint re branded it for prepaid probably won't change things unfortunately.

[nsciucco]

Seriously. Are we still debating this issue. We are pre paid. We don't get updates. I've been with virgin for 4 years. Never had a update ever... Except for one from HTC recently. It had something to do with the personalize app

[OverByter]

The first prepaid Android was the Intercept that came over from Sprint, it took awhile but Virgin ended up taking it from Eclair to FroYo. Still ridiculously slow though.

Know any good eclair roms that'll run on the 3d?

your right.. I forgot.. but thats it

As far as I know, yes it is. Still can't believe that Virgin's flagship of the day Motorola Triumph never got any love.
