Help 4.1.2 update

Just received notification for and installed the 4.1.2 update on my Sprint version. Too soon to tell. First think I noticed was the Smart Stay icon is now constant in the notification bar as opposed to flashing periodically to check. I also went and changed my Notification bar.

Now to go look for a definitive list of deltas.
 
Same here, smart stay icon won't go away. Also, scrolling up in an extensive text message thread is sluggish. Everything else seems to be smooth.
 
I don't think you are getting the full update if you have already, the notifications could be small updates fixing glitches. Although I haven't had any others since the first update to 4.1.2.

So are you saying you've already installed the update 3x's?
If so, you shouldn't keep getting the notification.
Have you tried just restarting your phone?
 
when is 4.1.2 coming to the international versions? I first read about this update months ago yet my device still has no update available
 
Those with smart stay icon issues. Try going into settings-display and check the smart stay icon, then deselect the smart rotation icon right above it. This solved my problem.

I thought the international variant had 4.1.2 already. Didn't a model get it in December?

The International rollout was being staggered. Some regions hadn't received it yet. I had to do the 4.1.2 update, on my international version, through Kies. Was easy to install, once I had Kies loaded up.
 
Got the 4.1.2 update reminder today.

I thought I (we) were on 4.1.2 already, wasn't that the last update?

Whats new with this update?

hehe... first notification i do the installation, then got the 4.1.2 update... then i do the second time... still 4.1.2, then this third time im ignoring this unless someone will tell me not to ignore...

i have same question and worse i got the third notification... im currently ignoring this...

the second notification i thought this is 4.2 so i installed but surprised still 4.1.2...lol
