4.1.2

Had to clear the Google Services Framework to get the update to show here in Southern California. Downloading now as well. By the way, the update is an LG Software Update, it is not listed under Firmware in case people were only checking for Firmware updates.

Cheers all, and on to the next thing! Hope the camera changes help, or that we get close to the stock Google JB camera, and also for the Google JB keyboard.

I'm in ny as well and have not received yet, I went to google framework, clear data, force stop, go back and check for update and NOTHING, lol, as of right now.

I doubt the LG Optimus will ever get 5.0

This is about it for me for any non-nexus device. I originally wanted the N4, but settled for this one because of the need to stay on Sprint. But I'll be moving on for sure in 1.5 years, with the cheap prepaid plans...etc.

The politics of not having a direct google phone just pisses me off too much.

Quick question about the update, if you update will it delete game data off of your phone. I have the simpsons tapped out game which you cannot back up and do not wish to start over.

Cool thanks. So does the update really make a difference. Because I had an htc evo before this phone and when I went to ics I hated it.

Well the update is jb. You won't notice many differences. Main things are the expandable notification pull down and a Google app. Phone is a little faster and battery isn't too bad.

That's one thing I was concerned about was battery life. I've read mixed reviews. I think it will come down to settings.

A lot of it is settings. I was just talking to the guys at xda last night about it. The drainer on ICS is android os but on jelly bean its the screen. I don't really know why and it doesn't matter what you have the screen set on either or how much time you use it.

May just be a bad line in the software but who knows honestly.
