Help 4.2.2 Multi-window

If you don't have the side bar, you'll see a ">" on the side, then long press the back arrow button on the bottom below the screen and it should pop up. Only those apps on the bar will "multi-window". Bring up say, Facebook, then, from the bar, drag open say the music app to the screen and it should make a blue colored transparent block over part of the screen and drop the app in that spot. Mine hasn't had any issues since the update some I'm not sure what the problem may be, but I thought I'd try to help.

Come on now. I'm a single dad of 3 and work 2 jobs. I dont have a lot of time but I did find time enough to redo mine. You don't have to babysit it. Google does 90% of it for you.

Well...it's not necessarily that simple for everyone. For those that actually do non-rooted customizations, the settings don't translate over unless the app itself has a backup for the settings, which still have to be saved. And those settings that are saved have to be copied manually over to a backup drive, in order to copy them back over to the phone and instantly be able to restore the former settings.

Google backs up apps, yes, but they don't back up the settings a person might have within the apps.
