As far as I know (correct me if I am wrong.) Ubuntu Touch could be ran on the Design, but battery usage would be like 2 hours instead of 8 hrs.The minimum requirements for Touch Phone is like 2GB RAM so it could be a little slow.
 
I know they have two versions of touch one that needs 512 minimum and 1ghz for processor speed. And one that's 2 gigs and at least a quad core processor. I'm not sure how to get a kernel to allow looping although I'm going to look into it. I know ubuntu runs so much smoother on my desktop than anything else and would be interested to see it on my phone and tablet.

I think first we have to have a stable version of jelly bean or Kitkat than we can think of other things for now ubuntu is not practical with evo

miui v5 has been in 2013,The camera is ok

My bad, lol, i meant 4.4 not 4.3 just an error on my typing, but any ways couldnt get it to install, I keept getting failure on Recovery! :/
 
I am having a problem getting mobile data to work. I have a freedompop phone, and I have tried many many APN things, still doesn't work. What should I do? Thanks! :D
 
Nor FreedomPop! Too bad. I'll just keep hoping. Hey what about that MIUI rom! GSM only? I tried going there to figure out, had translation and still had a hard time figuring out what the heck they were saying...lol

Element of the new version is not good,The contents of the new version update is only suitable for use in China,and the MIUI outside China should use effect is not very good,in China,network can only use CDMA,cannot use the GSM
 
Oh no need to apologize fuzhan,its not your fault its the way the chrome translator works. It does not pick up the idiosyncraticies of your native language well. Some of the terms do not translate as they are used by you folks. I have the same problem with my u30gt2 site www.51cube.com. My question was does the ROM work well with wimax, which is what freedom pop uses on this phone. Is everything working? WiFi, camera, that sort of thing. And thank you for your work on the ROM!!!
