4.2.2??

Hey i have a samsung nexus for verizon. I havent got the 4.2.2 update yet... i was wondering if it is possible to manually instalm it myself.... right now im runnin 4.1.1 and everytine i go to about phone. Update phone it says its up to date. Any help would be appreciated

For Verizon you are up to date. 4.1.1 is the latest for VZW. You can flash ROMs to give you 4.2 but if you are waiting for the Official Verizon update you may be waiting awhile.

If you are into flashing roms, there are many 4.2 roms out. JBsourcery is popular and very customizable. I'm on that now (4.5.6 --- but I think 4.5 is the official release currently, however they are up to 4.8 in experimental releases) and it is stable and reliable. I've also tried AOKP mr1 build3 which was great too and had the most amazing battery life.

Once vzw official update comes, I will go back to stock and take it to see how it has progressed... whether it will be 4.2.2, I dunno...
