Well something I cant get clear about clean installation, you down the update and install it then you reset and cash reset or you 1st factory reset then cash reset then u install??
After successful install, boot back into ARC and do a cache wipe followed by a hard wipe. This actually wipes out the cache twice and removes any residuals.
I am really confused now, should I do it or I wait...
Thanks to everyone
Dependent on how you feel. If you want, you can wait it out and see what others have to say first. Mine is the SGH-i317M model, so not sure how much more different it is to the GT-N7100 model. Especially when firmwares are concerned.
Email seems to be coming through now too. All I did was tick the box in data usage settings. Is this the same as push email or is the phone constantly connecting to fetch the email.. if that makes sense. Want to keep battery life good that's all.
My battery is over a year old now. How much are official ones?
Official ones should go around $40 I believe. Anything less could be copies. But always try to get from a reputable seller (which is hard if spammed with good ratings). Mine is about a year old too. But battery was still excellent in 4.1.2 until the update.
Yesterday, I had 16 hours uptime, 2 hours screen time and battery was down to 14%.

Battery is seriously much worse with this update compared to same usage on 4.1.2.
My phone memory had freed up with 4.3 too and also it now shows full 16gb as total. Internet and email displays are better too.
Yeah, but close to 5GB is system reserved. So only playing with around 10-11GB of user space. So no real difference since the previous version displayed only user available memory and hid the system reserved memory.
When in semi lit or dark rooms, it still glares and hurts the eyes with it's light coloured themes. Even with auto brightness dimming on it. I would have no problem if they kept it dark. Or at least have give us the option to choose.
Got my Verizon 4.3 update this morning and LOVING IT!!!
Battery life is great and phone is super fast, almost like I had a factory reset
Actually do you notice any hit on battery life with the extended battery?
The battery is actually fine under light usage. Putting it into serious use kills it much more quickly. I might try the SD card trick now and see if it will have any effect on the battery performance in 4.3.
I personally don't like it still. I had to make a lot of adjustments in other apps and settings to get back some things lost in 4.1.2. Not too pleased with that.
