Help 4.3 Update Question

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 from AT&T that I unlocked to use with MetroPCS when my contract ended. It says it is currently running 4.1.1 and I can't figure out how to get it to update to 4.3. When I got to settings-->about phone--> update it says it checked AT&T's server and it is up to date. However, I don't think it is still connected to AT&T since it is not on their network anymore.

I have also tried to update it by using the Samsung Kies app on my mac and plugging my phone in but it also says my firmware is up to date.

How can I get 4.3 on my phone?

You'll have to find a valid update package (check Samsung's sites). AT&T won't push an update to a phone that's not on their network and MetroPCS won't push an update to a phone they didn't sell. (Of course you'll void the warranty if there's anything left.)

Yeah use Odin (on your pc) to flash it. Find the firmware on sammobile.com/firmware
