4.3 Upload Notifications driving me crazy

I can't][/B effectuate the download because I will lose the ability to tether the computer! I do not have WIFI available in the sticks where I live during the summer. Is this now true for all VZ phones or only the Samsungs. If I have to I will move to a different brand, one that allows tethring.

1) Verizon (not in all markets at once, but it's coming) is disallowing tethering if you don't pay for a tethering account. They do this at the office, so there's nothing you can do to prevent it.

2) As for your problem, when you get the notification, long-press it. You'll get an "App info" button. Press it. That's the app that's giving you the notifications. Clear cache. Clear data. That will stop the notifications for a while.

A couple of years ago I downloaded PDANET and was able to tether using that without the permission of Verizon even tho, at that time, VZ was not allowing tethering; as they are doing now with the 4.3 update.

Do you think I will be able to use this back door now?
