I'd be surprised if Sony's (and every other OEM's) engineers weren't already working on it. I'll be equally surprised if anyone other than Nexus owners see it this year, based on prior releases.

Well, 4.3 has already been confirmed by Sony for the Z-series devices. I don't doubt that 4.4 will appear, but later rather than sooner.

On xperiablog.net, it's stated that we'll get to see 4.3 in December, and 4.4 next January. Remains to be seen.

Hopefully we won't face same problems as Galaxy users with these updates.

Camera improvements (again) apparently. Along with a lot of the background stuff 4.3 was released for Nexus devices with.

4.3 looks to have been certified by Sony so it will probably start rolling out in a couple of weeks.
