.435 video edit..?

I have noticed that there is a "video edit" stock app in the new update... (found in settings/applications/manage(filter all)
anyone worked out how to access/use it yet?!? - or indeed what it's for..the name sounds promising!!

ok, i can record a video then edit it!!! got it. lol

when i first noticed this app i opened an MP4 film i had on my SD and checked to see if i could 'edit' but there was no option, seems maybe you can only edit film taken by the phone camera.

I tried this out the other day, seems like you can only snip the video

EDIT: Just remembered, I was trying to edit a pre-existing video, haven't tried it on a new video yet, will let you know when I do

Thx Cubz, it does seem that it will only work for mp4's taken with the phone camera, but i hope i'm wrong!!

ps - thanks for the tips on photos - i used macro mode and got much better snaps!! have you tried this : APP 2.1 Stock Rom - Camera Mod V7 - 96kbps@16.0khz - 8mbps video / better pictures - xda-developers ??

After making a video then going into edit, it seems like we can only snip the video, they should have called it 'Snip' not 'Edit' !!
