Help 4G Back online - battery worse

Before 4G went out few days ago, I was getting pretty good battery life (40% - 60% remaining by bed time). Since it's been back online, my phone is only lasting about 6 or 7 hours before it starts to die.

Has anyone else noticed worse battery performance since 4G has come back online?

Thanks all.

I was wondering the same thing. I was on 4g all day yesterday and my battery life seemed to be worse then in recent times. I was not running any new apps but its always difficult to compare battery life due to no 2 days being the same as far as usage goes.

Anyways, curious what others have experienced the last day and half or so.

Can't wait for the update to be pushed out to us. Want to see how it impacts the battery.

Same here , was having good battery performance before the outage. Since 30% less. Also having trouble with charging lag

I havent noticed much a of a difference. But im gery impressed because my 4g signal is no longer spotty at my house!!!!!! I can actually walk dowstairs w/o it going to 3g!!!

I am experiencing the same exact phenomena. When unplugged at 7:15 in the morning my battery will not last past 12:30 or so in the afternoon. I have also noticed this started happening again after the 4g was shut down and then repaired.

My wife has the exact same phone, purchased on the same day as mine and her phone is not experiencing this same battery problem. She plays games, checks email, receives texts, etc. and my usage is not even close to that, this has been very helpful in isolating my problem.

I went into Verizon this past Saturday and convinced them it had nothing to do with my usage, the battery just doesn't hold a charge. It is my second battery as it happened the same way with the first one 2 weeks ago.

They are sending me a new phone tomorrow or Wednesday because they feel the problem must be internal. I will keep you all posted on what I encounter.

I really love the phone and all it can do however I can't be tethered to a power cord 3 times a day just to keep it on.

Battery life is significantly worse this week. I haven't downloaded any apps nor changed any settings, nor changed the way I'm using the phone. The battery used to last from 7a.m to 9p.m. without having to plug in, now I have to plug in 2x in that same time period.

This is getting annoying. Today I turned off 4G to see how long the battery lasts, I"ll report back at then end of the day.

I don't know if anyone else has tried this to fix fast battery drain, but last week the battery was draining very quickly on my TB, so did a restart, then a battery pull, and battery drain was back to what it was 2 weeks ago. I get 4G at home and at work, I don't turn it off, and the battery is lasting from ~ 7a.m. until 10p.m. (off charger to on charger) with medium use (mostly voice calls, emails and some texting).

I have noticed since this past weekend that my battery has been awful. and when I turn off LTE a lot of times I only get 1X still...

I'm experiencing the exact same issue. It's an extremely drastic reduction in battery life ever since the 4G outage. I used to be able to stay on 4G all day, but now I'm seeing a significant drop in my battery life even by lunch time. Switching to 3G lets me get through the day, but I'm annoyed that my battery life has suddenly changed somehow.
