Help 4G, cdma help

I only get either 4g or nothing. Its like my CDMA isn't working or something. Its been like this for a while now but I just haven't taken the time to try to figure it out.
I can be with someone with the same phone in an area with no 4g and they still get at least 1x but I dont have anything. Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this?
I have tried using anycut to set it to hybrid and that didnt work.
 
Not to be funny but did you ever update your prl by using the dial pad to enter *228 and press 5.. or check to see if the automatic is checked in the wireless settings on your device .
 
5 Months old. Rooted. Zvd. This happens with every rom and kernal and when i reverted back to stock.
 
Did you update and download all drivers before rooting the device . And when you went to flash did you wipe data and then proceed to the format data . I usually do both twice make sure a clean start :eek:
 
Just an FYI,, but I posted about this HERE back in February in THIS thread...

I'm sorta surprised there were no responses whatsoever about it.


Also to miamiparis, have you tried simply turning your data off & then back on??

settings > wireless networks > mobile networks > at the very top Data enabled

Make sure the box is checked & you should get data. It's different from Airplane mode in the sense that A.M. turns off everything:both data(1x/3g/4g) & phone service itself, meaning you can't even make calls. However, if you haven't already, that too may be an option to try, especially since it is 10x faster than restarting your phone.

na being on zvb should't be the reason, try to downgrade the prl back to a working one, or like brainz said with the wireless network, but maybe try just putting in airplaine mode, if that dont work than im pretty sure there was a trick we did with anycut, can try that lol

Can someone please go to settings, about phone, status and see what it says for mobile network type.

What's kinda strange is that Downgrading then upgrading and Rooting again Didn't fix the problem I am having but my 4g Coverage is much better now.
 
ok try this. i just thought of this out of my head :).

1.download Any cut from play store.
2.on home screen try to open a shortcut
3.after you select shortcut select "any cut" (the app)
4.go to activities
5.let it load (it may takes few mins)
6.then scroll down until you see CDMA options (IT HAS TO BE THE FIRST ONE), then select it
7. so now CDMA should been in your home screen, press it and it will restart CDMA or reset the configurations.

checks if it works :)
 
The first one force closes when i click on it. Second one is to just change auto answer.
