Help 4G help..

Hi I am new to this phone but far from new to this forum... So I need some help I can not get the 4G on this phone to work at all I have had the phone for approximately 4 days now maybe 5 and I have yet to have anything other than 1x and EV which are the two main reasons I bought are the hotspot and the 4G.

Try updating your prl. If you don't know how just dial *228 and choose option 5

That ^ ... plus power down your phone and remove the SIM card, wait a minute or so then put it back in and power up and see if 4G is rockin' your Avid. ;)
 
Your Sim card isn't set up for FoGee! it happens all the time. You shuntna waited so long.

Go to Metro's website and log into your account. See if you can get the chat window to come up. (It has a mind of its own :rolleyes: ) OR Go to Metro's Faceplant page and leave them a message that you need your Sim card activated for 4G. Be sure they know you've NEVER seen Any FoGee! Once they get your card activated correctly you'll have all the FoGee! you're gonna get.

What Bruce said, live chat and Facebook are also the best way to go with metro
 
Have you tried checking the settings by dialing ##626* If not you will need your service code.
