Root 4g is incredibly slow now on the Unlimited plan maybe it was the tether?

Hey gonna make this quick was supposed to be on the road to go pick up the wife from work. ok a month ago I rooted my phone and upgraded to zvd from zvb everything was working fine I was mainly using the tethering app the beta one I got from here because comcast were being douchebags about my service(gets cut back on saturday cant wait!!!) so when I tether its ok before I paid my bill this month my internet on the phone was fast and so was youtube and such afterwards I paid the bill tethered one day I noticed the data was getting high in less then 2 mins like almost 70.2mbs already so I didnt think nothing of it next day I'm only getting like 128 kbs down and 101 up and such tried going on my internet and the downloads in the google market are slow as hell youtube videos take forever I even tried the *228 option 2 and *228 option 5 (first option the metro customer rep told me to do that and the second I saw somewhere here in the forums) tried turning it off/on no luck still the same really tired of this anyone have any idea whats going on?
 
sounds like they throttled you down, by the way check your numbers. there's no way you were getting 70 Mbps
 
Metro PCS charges $10 per month for tethering and are against any tethering without this service added to your plan.

In their terms of service they state that if you use their service outside of the terms of service, they can without notice cap your plan or terminate it. Seems to me like your being capped.

I wish there was a way i could've recorded my data to prove it because when i used to tether it would go to nearly 200 mbs if i used it like for 3 hrs mainly for playing my mmo pso 2 but when that happened my data would be still fine guess they caught on...and what tethering plan never heard of it
 
now that i remember awhile back someone made a post in one of the threads sayng metro pcs unlimited is really around 60 gigs and they got slowed down because they were using it for netflix or something

hmm and the link doesnt work my friend if there is a way to add this to my plan I'd do it in a heartbeat just to have my 4g fast again its funny I didnt even get a warning or anything from the company
 
I have the $10/month tether on the 5gig 4g plan , throttles down after you hit your limit,, I was up to 6 gig and paid to add data, $5 / 512 MB , after doing so it took 6 calls to customer service ( India call center ) to get my internet back at all ,,,, was told it got slow because I'm in the top 5% of users ( well duh, if I hadn't planned to be I would have gotten a cheaper plan with less data ,,, never did receive the extra 4g data that was paid for either ,,, and it's not like you can get a hold of anyone not reading the set responses off a screen ,, ,, , right now I am looking for another phone company ,,,,, why can't there be a no B/S plan somewhere for about $70 / month
